Cydectin 0.5% Pour-On for Cattle

Now for use in Dairy Cows - 6 day milk withdrawal

Pour on containing 0.5% moxidectin for the treatment and control of gastro-intestinal roundworms (stomach & gut worms), lungworm, warbles, hornflies, mange mites and sucking and biting lice of cattle. Prevents re-infection of stomach worms for 5 weeks and lungworm for 6 weeks.

Dosage
1 ml per 10 kg bodyweight to give 0.5 mg moxidectin/kg bodyweight.

Administration
Apply along the midline of the back, from the withers to the tail head. Apply to clean, healthy areas of skin. All animals in the same group should be treated.

This product can give season long cover without the need to set stock (freedom to mix and move) if the following programme consisting of two grazing season doses and a late grazing/early housing dose is carried out.

Treat at turnout or up to 3 weeks after turnout and again in 8 to 10 weeks. If cattle are treated within 5 weeks prior to housing then no further worming at housing will be necessary. This programme was the most popular choice of our customers last season and worked very well - very cost effective and flexible.

Withdrawal period
Meat and offal: 14 days.
Milk: 6 days (144 hours).

CYDECTIN Pour-On has been shown to be safe for use in pregnant and lactating animals and breeding bulls.
Clinical trials have shown that efficacy is not affected by rainfall before or after treatment.
