The temperature indicator is a heat sensitive strip which can easily be fixed onto the discharge pipe or receiver jar.

As the circulating solution heats up the surface of the pipe, the strip will change colour as follows

Black to green - Correct temperature
Blue - Above the rating
Red/Tan - Below the rating
