MoxiSolv 10% LA Cattle Injection

MoxiSolv LA 100mg/ml Solution For Injection for Cattle is a POM-VPS medicine containing 100mg/ml moxidectin licenced for use in cattle between 100kg and 500kg.

Moxisolv 10% LA Injection can be used for the treatment and prevention of a broad range of gastro-intestinal, respiratory and external parasites in cattle, including:

- Adult and immature gastro-intestinal nematodes,
- Adult and immature lungworm,
- Warble grubs (migrating larvae),
- Lice,
- Mange mites

DOSAGE
0.5 ml per 50 kg bodyweight (1.0 mg per kg bodyweight)
• 100kg BW is a 1ml dose
• 250kg BW is a 2.5ml dose
• 500kg BW is a 5ml dose

ADMINISTRATION
• Via single subcutaneous injection in the ear
• Using 18 gauge, 25 – 40 mm hypodermic needle
• 50ml vial stoppers must not be broached more than 30 times
• 200ml vial stoppers must not be broached more than 50 times • Use automatic syringe for 200ml size size

WITHDRAWALS
• 108 days meat withdrawal
• Permitted for use during pregnancy but not permitted for use in lactating animals producing milk for human consumption within 80 days of expected parturition

Moxisolv 10% is not authorised for use in animals producing milk for human consumption. Do not use in pregnant animals which are intended to produce milk for human consumption within 80 days of expected parturition. Further advice should be sought from the medicine prescriber.
