Product Description
Fasinex 240 is a cream-coloured oral suspension (240 mg/ml triclabendazole) for cattle. It is indicated for the treatment and prevention of acute, subacute and chronic infection with triclabendazole-susceptible Fasciola hepatica, and is effective against early-immature, immature and adult stages.
Dose rates
Cattle: 5 ml per 100 kg bodyweight (equivalent to 12 mg/kg triclabendazole) given as a single oral dose.
Shake well before use. Weigh animals accurately and check drenching equipment is delivering the correct dose. In acute fasciolosis, treat immediately and repeat after 4–6 weeks if necessary under veterinary advice.
Withdrawal
Meat and offal: 52 days.
Milk: Not to be used within 48 days of calving. If calving occurs earlier than 48 days after treatment, milk for human consumption may be taken only after 50 days from the last treatment.
