Closamectin Pour-On is a topical formulation containing ivermectin and closantel. It is indicated for the treatment of mixed parasitic infestations in cattle due to gastrointestinal roundworms, lungworms, eyeworms, warbles, mites, lice and fluke. It provides broad-spectrum control including adult and late immature liver fluke.
Dose Rates
Administer once only at a dose of 500 µg ivermectin and 20 mg closantel per kg bodyweight, equivalent to 1 ml per 10 kg bodyweight, applied along the midline of the back from the withers to the tail head.
Withdrawal Periods
Meat and offal: 58 days
Milk: Not authorised for use in animals producing milk for human consumption, including during the dry period. Do not use during the last trimester of pregnancy in animals intended to produce milk for human consumption.
Contraindications
Do not use in non-lactating dairy cows including pregnant heifers within 60 days of calving.
Do not apply to areas of skin with mange, scabs, mud or heavy soiling to ensure proper absorption.
Do not use in cases of known hypersensitivity to the active substances or excipients.
Do not use in cattle producing milk for human consumption.
