Animax Tracesure Cobalt Bolus for Sheep

Tracesure Cobalt is a ruminal bolus for sheep and calves, providing slow release supplementation of Cobalt. Where dietary intake of Cobalt is low, the health and productivity of the animal may be improved by supplementation of this element. Cobalt deficient stock may have depressed appetites and/or show signs of general ill-thrift.
Tracesure Cobalt boluses release supplementary Cobalt for 5 - 6 months. The cobalt is released from the bolus by leaching, providing dietary supplementation. Spent boluses become enlarged and fragile. They are eventually shed, intact or fragmented, by being regurgitated or excreted.

Administration
Tracesure Co boluses are administered orally. Place the bolus at the back of the mouth, beyond the hump of the tongue, using a suitable Animax Sheep dosing gun. To avoid injury, the dosing gun should be used carefully and without force. Normal swallowing movements should allow the dose to be passed easily into the back of the mouth, the bolus may then be ejected and passage of the gun beyond this point is not necessary. Always check that the animal swallows the bolus.

75 - 100kg bodyweight - 1 x Tracesure Co 9g bolus
100 - 200kg bodyweight - 2 x Tracesure Co 9g boluses

Sheep

Dosage:
Over 20kg bodyweight - 1 x Tracesure Co 9g bolus
