Bahco Top High Level Tree Pruner

Developed to cover the requirement of a tool to prune trees above normal working height without carrying a ladder around.
Used together with a telescopic extension pole it is possible to cut branches at a height of up to 6m.

This top pruner has fully hardened double bevelled blade. The first bevel ensures easy cutting and the second bevel gives more strength to the blade, makes it stay sharp longer and also offers the possibility to resharpen the blade many times. Stamped, fully hardened counterblade and with a sap groove to prevent sticking. Triple lever action reduces the amount of effort required.

Adjustable clamp means will fit onto any pole with diameter ranging from 25mm (1") to 35mm (1 3/8"). Also a pruning saw blade can be mounted on this top pruner to enable sawing.

When using the top pruner the user places the counterblade over the branch being cut and upon pulling the rope the blade will cut from below which ensures the falling limb does not pull a strip of bark off the tree.

Supplied with 5mtrs of rope and a plastic handle.
