Animax Copinox Copper / Coprac 4g Capsule Bolus Ewe / Calf

For the treatment and prevention of copper deficiency in ewes and calves, and for the prevention of congenital swayback in lambs.
Each capsule contains 4g copper oxide rods equivalent to 3.4 g copper.

The copper status of the flock should be known proir to use. To be used at intervals of not less than 6 months.

Dosage

Calves - 75 to 100kg bodyweight may be given 2 x 4g capsules.

Ewes - 1 x 4g capsule. For the prevention of congenital swayback the dose should be given at tupping or during the first half of pregnancy. It may be advisable to administer the dose during the second or third month of gestation rather than at tupping on farms where copper deficiency is particularly severe.

Not for use in housed sheep or breeds susceptible to copper toxicity eg. North Ronaldsay and Texel.
