Calcitrace D3 Bolus 4 Pack

Calcitrace D3 is a new long-lasting oral bolus containing a high level of calcium as well as magnesium, phosphate and Vitimin D3.

Each 240g bolus contains:
43g Calcium
5g Magnesium
3g Phosphorous
100,00iu Vitamin D3

For use in dairy cows at risk of developing hypocalcaemia (Milk Fever) around calving time. Especially high yielding, multiparous dairy cows and those with a history of developing the condition. Or for use following a successful treatment of milk fever by calcium injection. Boluses are round tipped and coated in gelatin for easier administration.

Dosage & Administration:

Give one bolus at the first signs of calving to provide sustained realease for up to 48 hours. If necessary repeat with a second bolus 24 hours later. DO NOT adminster the bolus to a cow with clinical signs of Milk Fever or a down cow as the swallowing reflex may be imparied.

Supplementation following successful calcium injection: Administer one bolus between 2-3 hours after injection and repeat a second bolus 24 hours later if necessary. Administer using approved Calcitrace D3 Applicator only.
