Flubenvet 1%

Description:
A white, free-flowing powder containing 1% w/w flubendazole for incorporation into feed. Broad-spectrum anthelmintic for chickens and geese, effective against adult and immature stages of common nematodes including large roundworm (Ascaridia galli), caecal worm (Heterakis gallinarum), hairworm (Capillaria spp.), and gapeworm (Syngamus trachea). Also active against intestinal tapeworms (Raillietina spp.) in chickens.



Dose rates:

Chickens (including laying hens): 6 g Flubenvet 1% per 2 kg feed (30 ppm flubendazole) for 7 consecutive days.

Geese: 6 g Flubenvet 1% per 2 kg feed (30 ppm flubendazole) for 7 consecutive days.


Medicated feed should be the sole ration for the full treatment period.

Ensure thorough mixing.



Withdrawal period:

Meat and offal: 7 days.

Eggs: Zero days.


Contraindications:

Do not use in pheasants, partridges, or other species not indicated.

Do not use in cases of known hypersensitivity to flubendazole or excipients.

Do not use after expiry date.
