The Workline Green Grubs Boot is a fantastic working wellington boot providing waterproof & insulated features not matched by others on the market.
They also have, as you would expect, a steel toe cap - but you also get a Ballistic anti-penetration Mid sole, making them ideal for use on muddy construction sites or on farms.
The Workline Green Grubs boot has a TREDZ solid rubber sole that is oil resistant. The heel has 'Hexzorb' shock-absorbing features that provide extra comfort. The inner foot bed has a 6mm Nitrocell providing both insulation & cushioning.
The uppers are manufactured from a composite of moisture wicking knit inner liner, a 5mm thick layer of insulating Chloroprene and an outer layer of tough texturised nylon (similar to a neoprene wet suit). The foot and lower calf areas then have a 2mm thick layer of tough rubber applied. This provides protection against damage by brambles etc. The boot has a 5.0 rating, meaning it is suitable for sustained periods in temperatures from -10 to + 30 deg centigrade.
